KillDog is a cosplay fanmade photobook by MAORU. The photobook was created out of MAORU's love for the character.

Hypnosismic is a series that uses words and rap as a form of power, status, and weapon. 

Therefore the photobook features many typography designs to show the 'power' the character uses.

The title, 'KillDog' was named after careful consideration. With 'Kill' coming from the harsh and abusive environment

the Samatoki came from and it is one of the very notable lyrics he chooses to use in his raps.

And 'Dog', which came from the word 'Underdog' which means a person who is most least likely to win.

Joining these two words together, I felt that it clashes in a way that due to his harsh life, he would emerge as the

ultimate king of all with this very harshness, becoming the one you did not expect to win.

Life is not fair after all, you've got to fight for it even if you seem like you're losing.
